We did a very short session with a gondola ride in Venice and made a timeless engagement/pre-wedding photoshoot.

I shot this almost entirely with my Leica M and 35mm. A couple of photos are done with a Ricoh GR II, “The Queen” of street photography! :D

The essence of my documentary wedding photography is to narrate facts and depict people, through their behaviors, gestures, expressions and the way they interact each other. I practice pure reportage: not guided, never staged. The same way it happens in street photography, in my wedding photography I aim to glorify the randomness and I always love the irony of the unexpected. Candid is the way to go. ^_^

How to get Engaged in Rome!

Meet these two crazy guys from L.A. having a great time in Rome with their Engagement Photoshoot. The proper way to do it!
As a destination wedding photographer I always travel to shoot weddings, engagements, honeymoons and anniversaries. This time I had a couple eloping in my home city, the beautiful Rome with its timeless beauty and classic, ancient charme. Streets were almost desert. It was a warm february day. We fell in love with all the monuments and alleys, ending up shooting in Via Veneto, Campidoglio, Ara Coeli, Coliseum, Circo Massimo, Pantheon, Piazza di Pietra and Trevi Fountain.
It’s been a 6 hours shooting and we brought back home a ton of amazing, energy-driven photos.
American couples have a higher gear in fact of craziness!
